We will not meet for Bible Study/Youth tonight so that we may all support the family at the Prayer Service.

Back to Church Sunday

Make plans to be in church September 17 for Back to Church Sunday. Now that the kids are back in school and your family is back to a regular schedule, it only makes sense to re-establish the habit of going to church every Sunday.
The theme for Back to Church Sunday is “A Place to Belong.” We hope to see you there!

Wednesday Bible Study Resumes Tonight!

We took a two-week summer break on Wednesday nights, but starting tonight, we’re back! Bring the entire family to study the Bible together. We always have lots of fun learning together and praying for each other. The Youth and children also meet at 7:00. Wednesday Bible Study is a great place to grow!

Amen: Things We Can Know for Sure

It’s somewhat shocking to realize that we now live in a culture where evil is increasingly accepted and defended. Many of our Biblical convictions are being challenged, in some cases by some of our closest family members and friends. Are our Biblical belief systems destined to crumble? What are we to believe anymore?
You’re invited to a brand new series at Solid Rock Church titled Amen: Things We Can Know for Sure. This series will help us get reoriented in the powerful truths of God’s Word, truths that are unchanging even in the midst of a changing culture.
Amen: Things We Can Know for Sure starts this Sunday, May 22, at 10:30. We’ll be looking for you!

Youth News

The youth will be going to Stango’s Coffee Shop this Wednesday, May 11th. They will leave at 7:05 from the church in the church van, and return at 8:15. Bring money for food and/or dessert.

Pentecost Sunday

This Sunday, May 15th, is Pentecost Sunday. As an Assemblies of God church, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is our distinctive doctrine, but more than that, we believe it is a necessary part of God’s plan for the preaching of the gospel.
Join us this Sunday at 10:30 as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, and seek God for a fresh outpouring of his power.
